Two years ago, we set our incredible Italian partners a challenge: Make our softest tights even softer. Their first response? "Impossible." They told us the technology and the fibres simply wouldn't allow for more comfort without sacrificing the quality and durability you expect from Snag. But we aren't very good at taking "no" for an answer—and luckily, neither are they.
After two years of innovation and trial, they just reached back out with a surprise. They didn’t just meet the brief; they blew it out of the water. They've come up with Airsoft Tights, and now we want you to try them!
All our tights are made with a mixture of two yarns - Nylon 66 for the feel and Elastane for the stretch. What makes Airsoft different is the way those two yarns are combined. In our standard tights, the Nylon 66 is wrapped around the elastane. In our Airsoft tights, they are entangled using high-pressure air, in a process called Airntermingling.
What difference does this make?
🔹Extreme Stretch - Because the elastane isn't tightly bound by a spiral of nylon, it has more freedom to move. This results in a garment with much higher longitudinal and latitudinal stretch.
🔹Texture - It creates that "velvety" or "buttery" feel against the skin.
🔹Breathability and Weight - Airsoft tights are lighter and more breathable than normal tights of the same denier
Our verdict on them? We think these are the softest tights we've ever seen. Imagine silk crossed with velvet, giving you a cloud-like hug around your legs. These are unlike anything we've ever felt before (and we've felt a lot of tights in our time).

Care: Always wash your Snags before wearing them the first time, this ensures no residual dye is left on them. Always wash your tights with similar colours as they may run in the wash. Tights and shorts can get caught in the drum of a washing machine, so always either hand wash or put them inside a pillow case or lingerie bag to protect them. Always squeeze dry, don’t tumble dry, and avoid direct heat as it degrades the stretch.
