Made from beautifully soft double cotton gauze, it's naturally lightweight and breathable, and the signature crinkled texture means it comes straight out of a suitcase ready to wear.

The relaxed fit slips on over your head and falls into a tiered silhouette with plenty of movement. A V-neckline, deep flat side pockets and a mini length with a slightly longer back hem make this mini dress with pockets as practical as it is stylish, and it's easy to dress up with a belt and heels when evening calls. Every style in our Woven Winds range takes its name from a woman who changed history, a nod to the legendary Dhaka muslin fabric once called “woven air” for how it seemed to float on a breeze, the same fabric family as the double cotton gauze in this dress. The Amrita Dress is named after Amrita Sher-Gil, a pioneer of modern Indian art who painted the everyday lives of the women around her and lived a fiercely independent, bohemian life between Paris and India.

Fit note: Sits just above the knee at the front on a 5'7" model; the back hem is slightly longer.
