What is Snagtivists?
What is the Snagtivists programme?
Snagtivists is Snag’s referral programme. You get a personal link to share with people. When someone uses your link to place their very first Snag order, they get 15% off — and you get $19 cash. No tiers, no targets, no approval process. Just share and earn.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
Nope. No cap on referrals, and your link never expires. Share away.
Signing Up
How do I sign up?
Two ways. If you’ve just placed a Snag order, your referral link is automatically generated after checkout — but make sure you complete the sign-up process so we know where to send your reward. If you haven’t ordered yet, you can sign up directly using the form above.
Do I need to be approved to join?
No approval needed. Sign up, get your link, and start earning straight away.
I shared my link before officially signing up — do those referrals still count?
Yes, as long as you sign up using the same email address you used at Snag checkout. If you sign up with a different email, we won’t be able to match those early referrals to your account. So make sure to use your checkout email when completing sign-up.
Rewards & Eligibility
What does the person I refer get?
15% off their first order, applied automatically at checkout when they use your referral link.
What do I get?
You earn cash once the person you referred has placed their first order and it’s cleared the 7-day window. The amount depends on your local currency:

Does the person I refer have to be brand new to Snag?
Yes. The reward only applies if the person has never ordered from Snag before. If they’re already a Snag customer and use your link, it won’t trigger a reward.
Does my link work across different Snag sites?
Your link is tied to the Snag site you signed up on. So if you signed up on snagtights.com, your link works for people checking out on snagtights.com. It won’t trigger a reward if your friend checks out on a different regional site (e.g. snagtights.de).
Does the referral link work on sale items?
Your $19 reward still triggers regardless — that’s tracked through your link, not through a discount code. The 15% welcome discount can’t be combined with other discounts or sale prices, so if the items your friend buys are already on sale, they’ll get whichever deal is better. Your reward still comes through either way.
What if there’s a sitewide sale running at the same time?
Good news for everyone. Your friend gets whichever discount is bigger — so if there’s a 20% sitewide sale on, they’ll get that instead of the 15% referral discount. You still earn your reward as normal, since that’s triggered by the link, not by which discount was used.
Is there a minimum number of referrals before I get paid?
No. Every qualifying referral pays out individually — there’s no threshold to hit first.
Timing & Payout
When does my reward get confirmed?
7 days after your friend’s order is placed, once it’s been dispatched and can no longer be cancelled.
What if my friend returns their order — do I lose my reward?
No. Once your reward is confirmed at the 7-day mark, it’s yours to keep — regardless of any return or cancellation after that point.
When does my reward actually get paid out?
Payouts run weekly, every Thursday. Once your reward is confirmed, it’ll be paid on the next Thursday that follows. Here’s how the timing works:
How do I actually receive my money?
On payout day, you’ll get an email with a link to a redemption portal. From there you choose how you’d like to receive your cash — payment details aren’t collected at sign-up, you pick them when you redeem.
Something Not Working?
I referred someone weeks ago and still haven’t been paid.
A few things to check: Has the 7-day window passed since your friend’s order? Has a Thursday come around since then? Was your friend a brand-new Snag customer? If everything looks right and you still haven’t received anything, get in touch and we’ll look into it for you.
My friend’s 15% discount didn’t apply at checkout.
Make sure they used your referral link correctly and that they haven’t ordered from Snag before. If everything looks right and the discount still isn’t applying, reach out to us and we’ll get it sorted.

These Terms & Conditions explain how our programme, Snagtivists, works. By signing up or sharing your personal link, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Join
1.1 Snagtivists is open worldwide. Wherever you are, you can join — the only requirement is that you’re a genuine supporter of Snag.
1.2 You must be at least 18 years old to join Snagtivists and receive rewards.
1.3 There is no approval process. Once you’ve signed up, you can get your personal link and start sharing straight away.
2. Signing Up
2.1 There are two ways to join:
(a) If you’ve just placed an order, we’ll automatically generate your personal referral link for you to start sharing right after checkout. You’ll still need to complete sign-up afterwards so we know where to send your reward.
(b) If you haven’t ordered yet, you can sign up directly using the sign-up form on this page.
2.2 If you share your link before formally signing up, those referrals will only be credited to your account if you sign up using the same email address you checked out with. If you sign up with a different email address, we won’t be able to match your earlier referrals to your account.
2.3 There’s no cap on how many people you can refer, and your link doesn’t expire.
3. Your Referral Link & How Tracking Works
3.1 Share your link however feels natural to you — post it on your own social media, send it straight to friends in a message, or just tell people about Snag in person and point them to your link afterwards.
3.2 Each referral link is personal to you and tracked using the 15% discount code and a cookie placed in the referred person’s browser when they click it. This tracking cookie lasts 30 days.
3.3 Your link is tied to the Snag storefront you signed up on. For example, a link created via snagtights.com can only be used to refer people checking out on snagtights.com — it won’t track or reward referrals on a different Snag storefront (e.g. snagtights.de).
3.4 We can only track and reward referrals placed through your link. If someone hears about Snag from you but checks out without clicking your link first, we’ve got no way to trace that order back to you — so if a friend forgets, we won’t be able to add the reward after the fact. Remind them to tap your link when placing their order.
4. What the New Customer Gets
4.1 The new customer who places their first order with Snag using a valid referral link gets 15% off that order, applied automatically at checkout.
4.2 The 15% discount applies to the price of eligible products only (products not on sale, already discounted, or on promotion). Shipping costs are excluded from the 15% discount.
4.3 The 15% discount cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions and does not apply to items already on sale — in that case, the sale price applies instead.
4.4 If a sitewide promotion is running at the same time as Snagtivists, the new customer automatically receives whichever discount is better for them. The referral can still be tracked and counted as long as they check out using your link.
5. What the Referrer Gets
5.1 Once a referral qualifies (see Section 6), the referrer receives a fixed cash reward. The currency you’re paid in follows the Snag storefront you signed up on:

5.2 This reward is tracked and triggered by your referral link. It’s paid regardless of whether the referred order used your discount code or a better sitewide discount instead (see clause 4.4).
6. Confirmation & Payment
6.1 A reward is confirmed 7 days after the referred order is placed, provided the referral meets all the requirements in these Terms.
6.2 Once confirmed, the reward stands — it won’t be affected by any later return of the referred order.
6.3 Confirmed rewards are paid out weekly, every Thursday. A reward isn’t paid the moment it’s confirmed — it’s included in the next scheduled Thursday payout.
Example: if your 7-day confirmation window ends on a Monday, you’ll be paid that same week’s Thursday. If it ends on a Friday (after that week’s Thursday has already passed), you’ll be paid the following week’s Thursday instead.
6.4 Once a reward is paid, you’ll receive an email with a link to a redemption portal, where you can choose your preferred payout method. We don’t collect payment details when you sign up — only when you redeem a reward.
7. Eligible Referrals
7.1 Rewards only apply when the person you refer is placing their genuine first order with Snag. If they’ve bought from us before — even once — referring them again doesn’t count, however the order comes in.
7.2 Self-referrals aren’t allowed. That means no referring yourself, no using your own link through a second account, and no switching between devices or email addresses to make an order look like it came from someone else. If this happens, we may need to remove your account and cancel the reward.
7.3 Snag may investigate any referral, account, or pattern of activity it reasonably suspects is fraudulent, abusive, or in breach of these Terms. Where this is confirmed, Snag may withhold, decline, or reclaim any related reward, and may suspend or terminate the account involved.
8. Promoting Your Link
8.1 Don’t share your link inside Snag’s official Facebook groups — this currently means Snag Club, Outfit Of The Day, and Spicy Snag. These spaces are for the community, not for posting referral links.
8.2 When sharing your link, don’t present yourself as an employee of Snag unless you actually are.
8.3 If you share your link publicly — on social media, in a blog, anywhere other people you don’t know personally might see it — let people know you could earn a reward for it. A simple line like “I earn a little something if you shop through this link” is enough.
9. Where Can I Find Snag Creatives to Use?
9.1 Logos, images, and videos to help you share Snagtivists are available in this folder: Snagtivists asset folder. You’re welcome to use and share this content when promoting your referral link.
9.2 These assets remain Snag’s property. Using them to help spread the word doesn’t give you any ownership over them, and you can’t claim them as your own.
10. Tax
10.1 Rewards paid under Snagtivists may count as taxable income where you live. It’s your responsibility to check and meet any tax obligations that apply to you locally — Snag doesn’t withhold tax from reward payments and can’t advise you on your personal tax position.
10.2 As one example only: in the UK, HMRC’s trading allowance currently lets individuals earn up to £1,000 of casual income in a tax year without needing to report it; above that, it generally needs to be declared via Self Assessment. Rules differ outside the UK. If you’re unsure, check with your local tax authority or a tax adviser.
11. Data Protection
11.1 To run Snagtivists, we collect and use personal data such as your name, email address, and (when you redeem a reward) your chosen payout details. We handle this in line with Snag’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including UK/EU GDPR where it applies to you.
11.2 Some of this data is processed on our behalf by our referral tracking and payments provider(s), solely to run the programme. We don’t sell your data. You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting Snag customer service.
12. Governing Law
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away any protection you’re entitled to under the mandatory laws of the country you normally live in.
13. Changes to Snagtivists
13.1 Snag may change, pause, or end Snagtivists, or these Terms, at any time. Where reasonably possible, we’ll let registered referrers know about material changes. Continuing to take part after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Who Runs Snagtivists
14.1 Snagtivists is operated by Snag Group Limited (company number SC572528, registered at Unit 1 Rennie Square, Brucefield Industrial Estate, Livingston, Scotland, EH54 9DF) together with its group companies operating in your local market.
